I joined the Stellwagen lab as a PhD Student in the Fall of 2024. My research focuses on prey capture glues from arthropods, and I am passionate about the environment and leveraging arthropods to produce bio-based materials.

Rajlekha Deb
My lab works on Chaperones and the focus of my research is to understand the impact of Hsp70 phosphorylation on the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) protein TDP43 .




Hannah Faye
I love to learn more about invertebrates through the microscopic landscape of the cellular world and am always excited to find answers using molecular and genetic techniques. I aspire to apply my expertise to conservation efforts in order to help preserve and protect the biodiversity of the planet.



Paulo Freire
I am a Brazilian Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineer and currently a Ph.D. student in Luo’s lab. My research focuses on studying dark carbon metabolic pathways of deep ocean microbial communities inhabiting hydrothermal vents.

David Geiger
I’m a thesis masters student in the Song lab studying plant signaling pathways using bioinformatics methods.
