We are excited to invite you to the Southeastern Symposium on Genome Integrity and Chromatin Regulation, to be held at UNC Charlotte on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Expanding on the success of the 2025 Carolina Symposium, which drew about 150 participants from across the Carolinas, this year’s event now welcomes researchers from Georgia, Virginia, and North and South Carolina.

Program Highlights

  • Expert Speakers: Featuring 2 keynote addresses and 6 invited talks from distinguished Southeastern experts.
  • Abstract Presentations: 10 oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts.
  • Poster Session & Awards: A dedicated session featuring awards for three outstanding presentations and two honorable mentions.
  • Networking: An anticipated 150–200 attendees, providing a vital platform for trainees and faculty to foster collaboration and scientific exchange.
