Congratulations to faculty in Biological Sciences honored in the Million Dollar Research Circle Class of 2025. Chancellor Gaber hosted a reception recognizing faculty for their extraordinary external research dollars brought to the university. Honorees in Biological Sciences include Danillo Augusto, Kristen Kunk Johnson, Ian Marriott, Bao-Hua Song, Andrew Truman, Patricija van Oosten-Hawle, and Shan Yan. Additionally Danillo Augusto was recognized for his membership in the exclusive 3 Million Dollar Research Circle. The innovative research performed by our faculty fuels the university’s new R1 status and drives hands-on training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in the department.
