Fourth-year Mauricio Lopez pioneers pancreatic cancer research at Charlotte

As the sole UNC Charlotte undergraduate student working on pancreatic cancer research, Mauricio Lopez has made significant strides as a student, leaving an impact at Charlotte. 

With his primary focus being pancreatic cancer research and working with vaccines, Lopez also serves as president and founder of the Charlotte Health-Link Society chapter and is a Latin Honors Society member.
